Dear friends,
I just joined community and I was trying to understand jinngine physics.
I picked up RagdollExample and tidy up code littlebit and changed few boxes to Capsule.

But output I didnt expect. After falling down, ragdoll capsules keep jumping and go out or scene.

Please advice me what to change to make it work.

Source Attached..

Abhishek

hi Abhishek
I'll take a look as soon as I can. Its just that I just moved to
Dublin, and still don't have internet connection in my apartment. Hang
in there.

Hi again
Yeh, I can understand your worries :) but i'm still here :)
I took a look at your code, seems to be the 0.7 version. I think you
should check out the geometry_rework branch and use that instead. (the
newest version of jinngine) It might fix your problem, and it would
only require smaller adjustments in your code. Let me know how it
works out for you.

Hi Morten,
I tested my code with trunk and result is same.
So I hope trunk code is either 0.8 or 0.8+changes

But as you suggested I tested with geometry_rework too.
And default code of RagdollExample itself has capsules...and is working good. and I hope will solve my problem too.

Pls tell me about this branch. Do you have plan to move it to main line in future?

I will like to share what I am trying to do this momoent.

I am working on a robotic simulator. and I am working on making skeleton work.
So in Ragdoll example, I will like to create muscles in Ragdoll and do the body parts movements in simulator.

As of now I like jinngine implementation and I hope jinngine can fullfill these requirements.

Thanks for your reply.

Thanks and Regards

hi again

Yes the plan is to get it all into trunk and create a new release.
I've said that tons of times, and never got time to do it :) Right now
i'm quite busy because I just moved over to Dublin. But in the
meantime, just use the geometry_rework branch and you'll be fine (i
hope) :)
