Candidate should also be comfortable with pure startup culture, flat organization, brain cracking stuff, complex problem solving, night outs and unofficial cool stuff as well.

We are hiring! If you are a mobile/web enthusiast or you if you have passion for technology, playing with huge data, configuring complex system or internet is your playground, we have put up a simple project in different domains as a tech challenge for you. This will ease the interview process and help us to understand candidates’ technical level and adaptability to latest technology and trends. You can choose any one or more from the given tasks.

1Web

A simple web-based administration portal that will allow us to perform basic CRUD operations. Portal should comprise of a dashboard to see sales for a particular date and an interface to save, search, edit and delete records based on the schema provided below.

Use any programming language (e.g. PHP, Python, Node.js etc.) with some framework (e.g. Django etc.), using responsive UI framework (e.g. Bootstrap, Polymer or alike). Use any application server that fits your need and expose a REST API for clients to exchange data in JSON. Use MySQL or MongoDB as backend.

2Mobile

Develop a simple Android/iOS application that can read JSON data from a remote server, parse, display and store information in the mobile. When the app is revisited information should persists in the mobile. It should be a native app developed with usability in mind. Application should show more than 10 products (based on product table schema), accept quantity as input and allow to delete and save entries. It would be a bonus, if you can show images for respective products.

 

3System

Configure nginx for load-balancing and allow it to load-balance to application server (choose any application server you want). Configure MySQL cluster, create database and populate with sample records preferably from schema provided.
