FORGET ABOUT OBAMA & McCAIN...IT'S A FRUITCAKES ELECTION YEAR!!!

Every two years in October, the Tampa Bay Parrot Head club holds elections for four major offices...COMMANDER, FIRST MATE, PURSER, and YEOMAN. Right now, the Fruitcakes Board is in the process of setting the stage for these elections, and we have voted a Chairperson for the Elections Committee who is longtime member and Parrot Head friend, Susan Martin. CONGRATULATIONS to Susan! In the months ahead, you'll be hearing more about elections and the four offices up for grabs. But in the meantime, please talk to Susan if you would like to assist club elections in any way.  You must be a paid-up active member and not planning to run for office in order to assist on this project.

 

DO YOU HAVE ADVERTISING SKILLS?... SALES SKILLS?

The Fruitcakes Board is looking for new ways to generate funds for our club and the TBPH environmental causes. We are looking at whether to seek advertising on the finsup.com website and club publications... and would like to find one or more volunteers to look into this idea on behalf of the club. If this sounds like an opportunity for you, please get in touch with any member of the Fruitcakes Board, especially our volunteer co-ordinator, First Mate BikeR Steve.
