Alohaaaaaaaa Tampa Bay Parrot Heads!
I just this minute walked in the door from MotM, started checking email for the first time since before I left and realized we have a meeting manana!
yep!
Our first meeting of November is tomorrow Wed. Nov.5 at Kahuna's on Gandy Blvd. beginning around 6 pm.
I'll fill you in on all the rest of the regular info soon, so stay tuned.
One quick tidbit ... to follow up on Capt'n Harry's email about Capt.Tony's passing and the tributes that are being planned. As many of you know, I am involved with SpoonerRadio.com, and we record all kinds of live musical performances and share them with you online. We worked all over the island during MotM capturing the incredible talent that was showcased every day. One of the things we recorded was a benefit for Capt.Tony that was held on Thursday, and he spoke to the audience there via speakerphone from the hospital. We have the only audio recording of the last public statement ... the words the old man said ... and I'll share the link to that with all of you very soon. In the meantime, we'll be hoisting team drinks in his honor at our meeting manana. Sail on Capt.Tony!
