Biography

I need to write a biography of Jim Carroll., and I am thinking about how to do it. Actually I have been thinking about it for about thirty years. But anyway, whatever it is, I am starting it now.

I've always thought the fans should be part of Jim's biography.

I'm writing right now after chatting with a fan I'd emailed with for years. This person had an epic heroin addiction. 

I was just thinking about how I had connected with fans over the years, how fans like this particular person had become part of my life. How all of you became part of my life.

I'm not sure how to do it, but I would like my biography of Jim to include all of you. I may be reaching out to you for interviews. Otherwise, if you have ideas, let me know.

wow, i would love that - both to read a biography of jim and also to be involved in whatever way you decide. in a way i've truly grown up with jim - i joined this mailing list when i was 13 (and i'm in my mid 30s now!) - and his influence on my writing, and me writing at all, can't be overstated.
