Does anyone know if Jim Carroll had any tattoos? 

Does anyone in the group have any JC or JCB related tattoos? 

For the record, I have four tattoos but none of them are related to Jim.

JC had no tattoos that I know of, and I saw most of him.

I have a photo, somewhere, of a tattoo someone had around the neck/collarbone of a JC lyric. It’s one of many images that need to be restored to the image galleries on the website.

“Tattooed erection” is a good example of what JC did in his poetry (and also in his lyrics obviously) — that image immediately connects. Whether it’s an erection that has been tattooed, or a tattoo depicting an erection, you see it and it conjures a little movie in your brain. Living at the movies!

I hadn't thought of it that way.  Great images,  yes. 

I would find it very difficult to choose one of JC's lyrics for a tattoo.  So many choices!
