Dear Cassie,
This is an interesting collage but I am not sure what it means. It brings back memories but I wonder what Jim would think of all these images. I listened to an interview with him recently from somewhere in LA. He talked about some recent shows, particularly one in Seattle. I'm pretty sure it was on YouTube. It was interesting and I felt like I was there. It was enjoyable but sad at the same time. How I miss him and just knowing he was around.
                                                                       Love to all,
                                                                          Joey

I hope this will clarify a tad . . .

I have what appear to be FIVE (5) photocopies of the same flyer. The photo I showed previously was all five copies laid out on my dining room table with big books on top to try to flatten them out, as I found them rolled up with a bunch of posters. I understand why some of you thought maybe it was a collage -- and now that you've pointed it out, I kinda like the idea of a collage with those posters and a bunch of photography books. But anyway.

Attached to each copy of the flyer is a sticky note (promoting "ORUVAIL," some kinda brand-name pharmaceutical) with annotations from the person doing layouts. These annotations suggest each of the 5 copies is somehow unique?  (I cannot see the differences -- but I have worked closely with visual designers for almost 30 years and know that changes that may not be visible to me or that are very tiny are absolutely critical to a really good visual designer.)

Attached is a full-size photo of TWO of the five copies so you can see the details (hopefully GoogleGroups won't shrink it too much). The two copies are taped down, side-by-side, with blue painter tape on my dining room table. The sticky note(s) for each copy is below the copy it was originally stuck on. The one on the left is annotated as "copy of original." The one on the right is annotated "work in progress." The one on the right has a bunch of wite--out on it. Remember wite-out, all you ancient typists?

Amme, I mean Patricia, posted about her research on what this flyer was for (so awesome). I will respond to that separately.
