I found this blog post/tribute a couple of days ago. It's one of the most heartfelt ones about Jim Carroll that I've ever read. It's so sad that the author didn't get to meet him. I totally understand that. Sadly, don't remember ever hearing about him reading or performing anywhere near my hometown back in the day. And certainly, it's too late now (no pun intended).
