Hi all, I am new here although a fan of Jim Carroll for as long as I can remember. Wondering if there is anyone out there who likes Pools of Mercury album? Or anyone who knew Jim around 1998? Please let me know. I have some questions and something to share too.

I LOVE Pools of Mercury.  I didn't know Jim in 1998, but he toured to support the album and the book Void of Course, and came to Toronto.  I was extremely fortunate that he was such a friendly guy, he signed my copy of Forced Entries, chatted for a bit, and bummed a cigarette off of me.  I don't remember a lot from the 90's, but I sure remember that night.

Yes I saw Jim reading in Central Park also with Richard Hell around the same time. Gio
