Dear Sugata bhai,
Thanks a lot for your mail and giving your efforts. Regarding over phone procurement method, it can be a good option for us in my opinion too if the principal enterprises are very trustworthy and I believe they are so. Also we are doing business but so busy with our individual works and I just wonder whether especially stocks and sales volumes can be checked and monitored of JSS.
Now we are fully depended on Sujan which is absolutely okay for us but how about in absence of him. Moreover, we should discuss about Bata and JSS’s yearly turnover, any deficiencies, staff training & professionalism and expansion if necessary by having meetings (physical/skype) on regular basis. So, may I propose to have a meeting shortly regarding above matters because I think we should know our yearly position of our loss/profit.
Thanks once again.
With best regards,
Shubhashis
Dear Colleagues,I would like to inform all of you that I went to Chalk Bazar, old Dhaka city today for procuring goods for Joom Super Shop. Sorry, Kowshik bhai, I could not procure goods from the shop that we used to procure. As you know, when I received your phone call, most of cosmetics items were almost procured from M. R Traders shop, so I could not abondon it and go to other shop. You should have told me about that shop before hand so that I could go there and find that shop. Anyway, may be we can do next procurement from that shop. Please note that the shop that I have chosen today for procurement of goods, I think it is also a very good one and I also checked prices of some items which I found OK. In addition, the shop owner was very cordial and supportive all the way. He also mentioned one thing is that we can do procurement through sending SMS or over phone which items need to be procured, then wire transfer or Bkash or any other means for sending money, can be done. I would like to request all members to think about it so that we can proceed next time when we procure goods for Joom Super Shop. It will be much more convenient for all of us to go ahead with this way of procuring goods as we more or less are always busy. Here is the brief snapshot of procurement done today:1. All Cosmetics items from M. R. Traders including transportation cost = TK 40, 191/-2. All Toys items from M/S Maya Traders including transportation cost = TK 12,630/-3. Transportation cost for both ways = TK 470/-So the total amount of procurement = TK 53,291/- I would be grateful if Kowshik bhai or else can deposit it into this following account: Sugata Talukder, A/C # 01 2530 759 01, Current Account, Dhanmondi Branch, Standard Chartered Bank, DhakaFor Cosmetic items from M.R. Tarders, I took the original list of items procured, I will circulate the scanned copy tomorrow which can be printed and give it to Sujon. Later on, I will send the original copy to Sujon. I have communicated with Mr. Sujan and it is expected that the goods will be delivered by Monday.Mr. Kowshik proposed to raise salary for Sujan. I also agree with this proposal given the facts that he is managing two shops quite well with our minimal support and we can rely on him totally and i do not want to mention his honesty and integrity. I woukd like to request all members to think about it and come to a consensus so that this can be effective from 1st of May, 2015.Please let me know if you have any quarries.Best regards,Sugata____________________________________________________Mr. Sugata Talukder I The World Bank I Dhaka, BangladeshPh + 880 2 8159001 - 28 Ext 4322 I stal...@worldbank.org
