AGM/Social gathering at a restaurant in Dhaka

Dear all,

 

Hope all is fine with everyone. As you know few days back, some of us gathered at my residence. There, Babudagi proposed for a social gathering/AGM of JIL amongst us possibly including our family members. Probably Babudagi is now in Khagra and coming back to Dhaka before this Friday (7 Aug) and the proposed gathering date is on Friday, the 7^th of Aug. Initially it was thought to be for a dinner time, however, if our family members including newly born babies especially three of us, are attended, Babudagi suggested for a lunch time otherwise dinner time would be fine for us (directors only).

 

So, for that purpose, I just wonder whether I may suggest a venue either at Peda Ting Ting (Chakma restaurant) or at Jamuna Future Parkor at Royal Buffet in Dhanmondi to be held at lunch time on Friday, the 7^th of Aug.

 

For some strategic discussions and decisions of JIL, I believe a meeting is really needed to be held at an earliest convenience.

Dear all,

Thank you Shubhashis bhai for your e-mail. I am in Dhaka now and I can join in the AGM. I think Peda Ting Ting restaurant does not have enough space(meeting room and space for all family members) and more car parking. As Friday, Jamuna Furute Park can be more crowd and meeting place is not mentioned. I have no knowledge about Royal Buffet, Dhanmondi.

We need a meeting room and enough space for all family members for food, entertainments etc. Based on this, please select the meeting venue.

Thanks Babudagi & Kanchan bhai for your kind responses. I am not sure about a restaurant in Dhaka with a separate conference/meeting room. If we can find one like that would be grate, however, being post-Eid Friday, there might still be plenty of spaces on top floor around food court areas at Jamuna Future pPark and I think after our lunch, we (directors) can have a meeting/discussion at the same open space or we can find a in room restaurant as well.

 

If we all agree, probably we can meet there (level 5) at 1pm.

Dear All, I think, there will be many people at Jamuna Future Park on Friday so it would be better if we can avoid that crowds though it might be good for kids for playing. In this case, I can suggest to go for lunch at Bamboo Shoot Restaurant (authentic Chinese and Thai cuisines) where you can have a private room accommodating 15 to 20 peoples for meeting as well as other family members can enjoy privately. There might be a charge for having that room.

If we go to Jamuna Future Park, we can also enjoy movie at the Jamuna Blockbuster Cinema with family members to make the day memorable! As I have just discussed with Kanchan regarding AGM, I am sorry to inform you that we(Kanchan and me) are not able to provide financial data of Bata operation and Joom super shop operation in tomorrow's meeting. We have a meeting as usual. After meeting, other programs will be followed.
