Keynote Speaker for OSDConf

Hi all,

So OSDConf (http://osdconf.in) is just around the corner. We still have to figure whom shall we invite to deliver the keynote. So it would be great if we can pool in our suggestions and decide collectively so that we can approach the speaker as soon as we can.

Given with the kind of time we have left, we must try for people who are in Delhi NCR as they will be in a better position to confirm. My suggestions are:
  • Gora Mohanty (Software Engineer at MimirTech)  - Gora has been very actively involved with ILUD and the FOSS movement in India from the days when we hadn't even heard of something called Linux or Open-Source. I am sure he can be a great motivation for students to get involved with FOSS.
  • Piyush Kumar (Software Engineer at MakeMyTrip) - Piyush has been spearheading DevOps and Infrastructure of MakeMyTrip, trying to solve varied problems they face everyday with the help of Open-Source software. I am sure he can be add great value to the conference if he shares his experience and story of getting into this world with the help of open-source software.

Where are we at with this? Any progres? More suggestions? We have two days so do we need two keynote speakers or just one?

Since we are out of time, we must finalize and get in action like right away. I would suggest to go with one of the options we have already.
