Python in jsp

Greetings.

I'm working on my minor. Its a movie recommendation system
I have my database on Mysql. I have codes on Python. I have frontend on jsp.
I have connected jsp to mysql and it works. I can register and add ratings. But how do i apply the recommendation algorithm(python) ?

Have a background service populate the results of your algorithm applied on your data and have your front-end read it.

A quick Google search gave me this: https://github.com/markfuge/scalable-collaborative-filtering, which probably can be useful incase you already don't have the recommendation code.
