It's gotta drive you extension authors nuts to have to keep up with
upgrades. Any timeline re an updated release or are there tricks to
force FF to install what is assumes is a 'non-compatible' extension?

Thanks for catching. I have updated the extension info for the addon & created a new version. Yes it is a pain in the butt :-)

The new version is in the sandbox, not sure when it will get out of the sandbox and be the default.

But here it is to try out.
