Why does Jiffy measure the unload event?

Hi,

I'm currently playing with Jiffy and working out how to best integrate
that into our production environment.

I was wondering for what the second AJAX request on unload is used
for? What happens if I remove it?

Unload is used to guage the time between page loads, from the unload
event on one to the load of the next. If you don't need the
measurment, there should be no side effect to removing it.
