OFC/NFOEC 2011
OFC/NFOEC is Now Accepting Papers

Deadline: October 12, 2010, 12:00 p.m. noon EDT (16.00 GMT)

Present Your Work—Share your latest research discoveries with colleagues, luminaries, and industry leaders. View the latest list of invited speakers.

Publish Your Work—Within weeks of your presentation your work will be published in OSA's Optics InfoBase and IEEE's IEEE Xplore. Receive worldwide exposure for your work long after the conference has ended.

Collaborate with Peers—Receive immediate feedback from the brightest minds in optical communications. Broaden your professional network, meet potential co-authors and collaborators, and advance your career.

2011 Topic Categories—Topic Descriptions Available Online

NOTE:
Categories 1 through 3 provide feedback to the network operator community with a shorter-term relevance.
This means submissions to these categories should focus on the near- to mid-term needs of engineering and operating a network, where they are or will become commercially viable in a short timeframe.

Categories 5 through 14 provide feedback to the R&D community with a longer-term relevance. This means submissions to these categories should focus on fundamental and evolving topics that one would expect to take a few years before becoming commercially viable.

The full list of invited speakers, tutorial speakers and workshops/panels is now online.

Shared laughter creates a bond of friendships. When people laugh together, they cease to be young and old, teacher and pupils, worker and boss. They become a single group of human beings.
