Hi everyone,

JHipster Online hasn’t been updated for years, so I’m going to try to do this, starting today!!

- There’s a migration of the Java code to the latest JHipster release, as well as database from MySQM 5 to MySQL 8 -> I’m going to start this now, so you might encounter some issues
- We also have a front-end update, which was done by Yohan Lasorsa (from my team at Microsoft), that I will do once the first task is done
- We have currently one critical issue, with the mail templates not working anymore, I will then try to fix this

My goal is to have everything updated, so we can start working on the project again. As you might remember, we have a project inside Microsoft to add Azure Spring Apps support directly to JHipster Online (this would be a separate menu item, after the “create application”, we would have something like “create an Azure application”).

Ping me if this causes any issues/doubts on your side!

Julien
