Thats strange.

Are you seeing it in the console log of the server? do you see a stack trace? also can you check if you see the same with an angular app generated by JHipster?

I'm adding dev team as well, as somebody might have an idea

Hello,

While we were developing the account settings and change password page we encountered a quite strange issue. Every time we try to call the "/api/account" service, a strange error appear in console :

XML Parsing Error: no root element found
Location: http://localhost:9000/api/account
Line Number 1, Column 1: account:1:1

and the content is :

{
  "type" : "http://www.jhipster.tech/problem/problem-with-message",
  "title" : "Unauthorized",
  "status" : 401,
  "detail" : "Full authentication is required to access this resource",
  "path" : "/api/account",
  "message" : "error.http.401"
}

We thought that it was just a simple authentication issue but when we try to find out what is making the API that is causing this error we couldn't find it. And the strangest part is that there's no trace of failed API call in Firefox's network monitor. What's even more troubling is that the API call we're making is actually working. We tried to see if it was related to the App's initial authentication but it doesn't seem to be the case.

Angular doesn't seem to have the any problem. I even tried to use the react server with the angular client and no problem whatsoever.
On the server side, logs aren't showing anything particular, the operation seem to be working just fine.

Problem's fixed, looks like the error message wasn't related to the issue.
