Reg: JHipster microservice on Fargate

Hi Guys,

Has anyone had success deploying a JH microservice stack to AWS Fargete? if so what modifications did you have to make it to work?

Hey Deepu,

We already have an AWS Fargate sub-generator :-)

It was done by people at Ippon, and I've tested it and it works. You'll probably need to customize it, but it works :-)

I know, but It only works for monolith and doesn't have microservice support based on the docs.

Also doing monolith in fargate is easy, I have even deployed a JHipster microservice stack to it using XL Deploy but I have issues with the Registry and microservice registration

Oh indeed, it only works for monoliths... And according to the stats nobody has ever used it :-(

Hi Deepu,

From a quick search it seems like there are some quirks with Fargate networking (as usual in cloud environpents...).

Luckily some people seems to have found a fix : https://github.com/jussiseppala/eurekafargatesample

Yup I also saw those and the repo, but was hoping some one from the team might have figured a better way
