FREE MEDICAL CAMP - MIAN MUHAMMAD BUKHSH MEMORIAL HOSPITAL Dhanyala Jhelum

On the 23rd January 2010, death Anniversary of Mian Muhammad Bukhsh, a
free medical camp was arranged by Mian Muhammad Bukhsh Trust and Wadi
Citizen Community Board jointly at Mian Muhammad Bukhsh Memorial
Hospital, Dhanyala. In this camp, 25 doctors and consultants from all
over Punjab participated, along with 45 paramedical staff, 2500
patients were given free check-up and complimentary medicine. 253
patients were tested for Hepatitis B and Hepatitis C each, 200
patients were vaccinated for Hepatitis and 900 were tested for
Diabetes. The Pakistan Medical Association(PMA), Pakistan
Pharmaceutical Manufacturing Association(PPMA), Pakistan Tobacco
Company(PTC) and D.H.Q. Hospital Jhelum provided technical and moral
support for the camp. Medical Superintendent D.H.Q. Hospital Jhelum
Dr. Munawar Chaudhry and District Health Officer Jhelum Dr. Capt.
Retd. Muhammad Asif also visited the camp. Raja Muhammad Azfal Khan Ex-
MNA and Senator visited the camp on Saturday.
