Subject: Urgent Tornado Relief!
Dear Kenny,

The Tornados that ravaged the landscape of the south earlier this week are now the deadliest since the Great Depression. The impact of this disaster will be felt for a years to come … but the impact you can make will effect generations. This region has become my mission field and yours.

I have dispatched 80,000 pounds of food, water and supplies to the communities most significantly impacted by the storms with the kinds of emergency aid that is needed first in disasters. This practical expression of the love of Christ can have an eternal effect on those most in need.

Your online donation can be put into action providing immediate aid to tornado victims in the South, and helping me preach the Gospel to a lost and hurting world through our Breakthrough television broadcast.

$40 will provide help to one devastated family - $80 will help two – and I challenge some of you to give $160 to provide for four families.

Many did not survive these storms, and others escaped with only the clothes on their backs. Bridge of Hope was created for such a time as this – to bring emergency aid wherever it is needed, as a “first responder” to situations that overwhelm families and communities.

These tornados have taken over 300 lives and left thousands of families without homes. Communities are in unimaginable chaos, and life as they know it will never be the same. But together, we can comfort the victims of these tornadoes. They need to know the body of Christ feels their pain and hears their cries.

Please respond at once! Sow your seed of $80 or $40 into our disaster relief efforts to help the victims of the Alabama and Mississippi tornadoes, and allow me to continue preaching the Gospel to a lost and hurting world through our Breakthrough telecast.

I know that just last month I asked you to join me in sending relief to the victims of the earthquake and tsunami in Japan. But natural disasters don’t arrive on any schedule. We are needed now, and I am committed to responding in a way that becomes the Gospel and meets the needs of people whose lives have been irrevocably changed in a matter of minutes.

Thank you for your immediate compassionate response! I know that God will richly bless you for your compassion and your commitment to spread His love to those who need it most – not only around the world, but also here at home.
