To unblock the jgrapht-python release, we are performing a maintenance release for jgrapht-java which includes some necessary bug fixes and structural changes. Please hold off any code merges until the release is complete.

We are running into some technical issues while performing the jgrapht 1.4.1 release, primarily caused by the upgrade from java 8 to java 11. It seems we will need some more time to iron out these kinks. For now, go ahead with merging new content/fixes/etc into the master branch. I will send out another email when we are confident that the release can proceed as planned.

Also, since the upgrade from java 8 to 11 is a rather big milestone and not just a small maintenance issue, we will skip version number 1.4.1 and immediately jump to 1.5.0
