I've just fixed the CSS issue where the layout was jumping around when
you click on links etc. The latest showcase has been updated to
reflect the changes. It's amazing how such a little, visual thing can
make such a big difference.
I've also got Dialogs centering within their window now, however they
still stay on top all the time, even when you alt-tab, etc. This looks
to be a problem with JavaFX itself and I may not get a lot of control
over it. Most likely scenario is that I will have to avoid using
popups and instead will have to go for the 'light box' effect, where
the dialog is just added to the top layer of a stackpane. Not as nice,
since the dialog can't float outside the main window, but it would be
much more reliable.
I am also thinking about adding an alternate Browser header that is
more like the one used in the Ensemble package. The OS window titlebar
could then be removed and the Browser could provide the entire window
with close/minimize buttons, etc. On the todo list.
Cheers,
