Send me you comments and suggestions.
I have gone through your proposal and I want to say that Its
wonderful. I agree with you that most frameworks out there lack
usefulness in that instead of simplifying software development, they
complicate it, and for this reason I believe our main aim should be to
simplify development using the JForce platform as much as possible.
Though I have not programmed in Lisp, I believe I will catch up on it
as soon as possible since I am well conversant with Python which has
almost similar syntax. Our focus therefore should be to lay down the
ground rules for the JEX language so that we all read from the same
script from the word go.
Otherwise, more comments and ideas will be flowing as the JForce
Platform sinks slowly in to the brain.
rgds,
Michael.
The proposal is not yet complete. I'll provide updates soon. Feel free
to criticize or even start your own proposal if you think, that what
is provided is not correct or missed something.
> Though I have not programmed in Lisp, I believe I will catch up on it
I think LISP will be a smart choice, because language should be highly
scalable (to support several platforms but be uniform at the same
time). LISP may be not comfortable for Java developer (including me),
but it's really simple to learn. See http://www.gigamonkeys.com/book/
for nice book.
> ground rules for the JEX language so that we all read from the same
To say the truth I don't like name JEX. It's ugly and off point too.
So if you have a better name, post here. We'll vote for the best
alternative alongside with the proposal.

We have plenty of time for generating ideas and each idea is more than
welcomed.
