T-Minus 1 Week

I am very eager to get the trip started, at this point. I am
absolutely sure I have overthought, overpacked, and over-worried the
entire experience. Every new email I read makes me second guess the
decisions I have made regarding what to bring (laptop or no, etc.), if
my gifts are appropriate and if I need more or less, is my suitcase
too big...the list goes on. Given my personality type, none of this
worry is suprising, though!
On a brighter note, I simply cannot wait to start this adventure. As I
have travelled in the past, I find that once on board the first
flight, my worries simply slip away and I am able to fully relax into
the trip. I am very much hoping this trip will be the same! I am
looking forward to meeting all my fellow Hitachiota members (20 in
all), and we have been corresponding via another google group.
The decision for what to do with our free time (day off and evenings)
seems to be consuming the most time in the messages. I am fairly sure
now, after reading many posts, that we will be able to decide/book the
trip once in Tokyo, so that stress has been lessened.
Last week of school for me also, which is fun. NOT the last week for
the students - I am missing the last 4 days! I have to get the sub
plans ready, and prepare my room for summer. Luckily, I am not moving
rooms, or schools!
Another update will be coming soon! Pray for me and for all the other
participants that we may make this trip last a lifetime!
