Two Weeks and counting!

It is amazing the amount of detail that goes into planning for a three
week outing! Especially one that is overseas!
Just a short post here to give a sense to future readers of my extreme
level of excitement and anticipation. I hope that along the way,
someday, others who are planning their own JFMF experience will feel
these same emotions as the time draws near.
I have secured two essential items this week: slippers (ordered from
Amazon - from China - after a lengthy search), and my gifts for the
homestay. I decided on a nice photo book of San Diego and some Padres
tshirts to give them a sense of my home. Hopefully, they will be
enjoyed.
My bags are sitting next to the bed - empty, but ready to be packed at
any moment. I am sure I will pack/repack a few times over the next two
weeks.
Interesting bit of info: the Friends of JFMF, an organization of past
participants, has put together a 60 mintue video of what to expect on
the trip! I just ordered this today and am anxious to receive it! I
will post a review once I get it in my hands!
