Hi Ilya,

I a PHD student in a french university, and i'm working on cancer care trajectories in the Paris area. That's why I need a tool to symbolize these trajectories, from cities to physicians, even if flows are very small. Jflowmap seems to be a very good tool for my research. But, I don't understand few things :

1) I've just downloaded the software on your google website

2) I've followed the tutorial "Howtopreparedata", so I've created  :
- 2 CSV.files : nodes and flows
- 2 shapefiles : one with the cities, and one with the phycians geographical positions
- The config file which puts it all together (in .TXT)

3) But, I don't understand how to convert these files in .jfmv file ... Could you explain to me the main points to create my flows map ?

Thank you very much !

Hi Lucie,

Well, the .jfmv file is actually the config which you put in .TXT. Just rename .TXT into .jfmv

Hope it helps!

Regards
Ilya
