shalom to everyone,

as promised, I looked in the Jezierna memory book to find the picture Of the soldier Bonyo Eidel that Zen sent.

The picture is inserted, with other pictures (including the kantine one I sent before) in an article about Jeziernians in different armies. The article, pages 155-159, is written in Yiddish by Lippa Fisher, Izhak Charap (my father) and Azriel Zemora.

It includes many names, some may be interesting to group members like Avraham Charap (?) who - according to this article - joined the Russian army in the second world war.

Here is a photo of my uncle, Baruch Eidel, that seems to fit the time frame of Talila's photo of soldier's. Could he be one of them (a long shot)? Baruch was killed in WW1.

I know nothing about the people in the picture. I don't know if they were local, or soldiers coming from somewhere else positioned in the town.
they look Ruissians to me, but I may be wrong.
on the back of the picture it says only:
Kantine
1916
 Jezierna
of course the picture was taken during the first world war.
