For this weeks assignment we had to create fan/cartoon art from either the powerpuffyourself website or the peanutizeme website. I chose of course, the powerpuffyourself website. First, I chose this website because I really leaned more towards my childhood and whichever show I would actually watch. Yeah, I watched Charlie Brown growing up but not like I watched power puff girls, that was my go to. For inspiration I chose to make a cartoon version of myself. I did similar fashion sense and I made my cartoon me to be holding a phone. Everything was very much straight forward.
I also think that powerpuff me was a better website to make my own character. I really loved powerpuff girl when I was young and I think that is why I chose to make a character with powerpuff me. It is nice that it gives explanation with one sentence of you
I made this super cute Powerpuff version of myself on this website provided to me!! Feel free to try it yourself with this link !/en haha it was such a cute thing to do. It kind of reminded me of a Bitmoji that you would use on Snapchat or even like a Mii that was made on the Wii (tbt to that omg). The process in creating my own version of a Powerpuff Girl was really simple actually. I was able to simply select through the different styles for each feature of the cartoon version of me. It started with the eye shape, the smile, my hair style and color, then the outfit that I chose to give myself. Then I was given a set of ten questions to answer that essentially gave my Powerpuff a personality, per se. This outfit though guys, I think it is perfect for a traveling girl. A white shirt and black overalls on top, nothing gets better than that when worn while traveling the new towns in the location you are visiting!
For the stecatto version of the linework that i did i decided to listen to Avril Lavinges new song Rock N roll and when i listened to the song i felt like i was in some awesome powerpuff show! I felt estatic like i wanted to jump up and dance and thats how steccato is supposed to make you feel. As for legato i listened to Summertime Sadness by Lana Del Rey and it made me think about memories that i had with different people and throughout high school expieriences. I felt like i was reliving every single memory listening to the song. Some songs like these just make you think about thoughts you may not want to think about but hey its awesome because it make you think about yourself too ion a way when you actually sit and listen to the beats and the lyrics of the song carefully.
