Call for Proposals: In anticipation of the 27th annual Yom Iyun dedicated to the study of Hebrew “An Afternoon of Torah and Language” — Zos Chanukah 5786
Greetings,
With God’s help, we will gather in Jerusalem on Monday, Zos Chanukah, the 2nd of Tevet, 5786. You are invited to submit proposals for a short lecture in Hebrew (up to 18 minutes) on a linguistic–Torah topic.
Priority will be given to presentations dedicated to the linguistic teachings of Rabbi Meir Nissim Mazuz (of blessed memory; passed away Nissan 5785) and Prof. Yitzhak Shraga (Jordan) Penkower (of blessed memory; passed away Elul 5785).
Proposals should be sent by the 14th of Kislev to the email address: אוריאל פרנק <in...@maanelashon.org>
Each proposal should include: a suggested title, a 25–50 word abstract, and the lecturer’s full name and academic/professional title.
The organizing committee will review the various proposals and select those deemed appropriate. There is no commitment to accept every submission.
With blessings for a healthy winter, and many thanks in advance,
Good tidings and all the best,
Uriel Frank
