The 8th International conference on Jewish languages will take place at the Hebrew University Mt. Scopus campus, Jerusalem from August 1 to 4, 2022.

The conference on “Tradition and Innovation in Jewish Languages” is organized by the Center for Jewish Languages of the Hebrew University, and is dedicated this time to Prof. David Bunis on the occasion of his 70th birthday.

The four-day conference, which is supported by the Israel Science Foundation, includes lectures on a variety of Jewish languages: Ladino, Yiddish, Judeo-Arabic varaieties, Nr0-Jewish Aramaic, Judeo-Persian, Juhury, Judea-Italian, Judeo-Portugeze, Judeo-Georgian and more.
