Art Opportunity for Jewish Young Adults

With the help of CJP, I started a venture called The MEM Project that seeks to engage individuals through the artistic process as a means to explore Jewish identity; and offers Jewish art workshops to young adults in the greater Boston area.
The first round of classes for the winter session (Jan-Feb 2012) includes Jewish Papercutting, Exploring Light in the Bible (a painting class with text study) and Jewish Symbols and Spirit (painting class) and is currently open for enrollment. Classes are 4 sessions, will take place in Somerville, and are heavily subsidized by a generous Young Adult Community Grant from CJP in an effort to encourage participation. It's a great deal, plus participants will be able to create art, meet new people in the community, and engage in art and in Judaism in a whole new way.
