Mornin,
thanx 4 ua contribution, wel 4 me I feel timing is of uttermost importance, coz U don't share dark secrets as sn as U mt your partner but U must wait 4 da right moment.this is usually wen U hv dated someone 4 a while and trust that person wit ua personal info and U hv also decided thatz da person U would want to settle down with. This then becomes a gd tym to share everything so that da dark secrets dont dis the marriage later on.othawiz God Bless and stay blessed.

RE: An ugly past.

Hi everyone,
I hope you're well.I'd like to bring up the discussion we had on
Friday about 'When is the right time to tell your partner about an
ugly past, which, you think if they get to know they might end the
relationship'.Is it best to tell him/her during the first date, during
the dating period, during courtship,in marriage or never at all?
Have a blest week.
Regards,
Liz.

Hey Alfred,
Thanks for your contribution.I think I agree with your argument. It's
not advisable to share your information with someone so soon although
I think I'd personally prefer to be told everything as soon as
possible. And I think everyone would hold the same sentiments as I
do.But,on the contrary, if I had a bad past I'd be really reluctant to
say.(this is more of expecting others to do to you what you won't do
to them.)But I think,this calls for wisdom,and I remember Rev.Tom
Otieno once said that if there's something that you can't tell your
spouse/partner then that's an area in your life that lacks grace and
we shud pray to God that He may deal with it. Be blest.
