Parsing strings with spaces

Hi,

Is there any way of parsing a string with empty spaces as a parameter?

Hi,

I am not completely sure what you mean. Generally it is up to your shell to deal with spaces. For example if you are using the bash shell you can use \ to escape spaces or surround the value with quotation marks. for examples:

   my\ value
or
   "my value"

Or do you mean something else?
