Getting the latest bits from http://repo1.maven.org/maven2/com/lexicalscope/jewelcli/jewelcli/0.8.5/jewelcli-0.8.5.jar
I discovered that as the classfiles were compiled with Java 7, I could not use this jar anymore in my Java6 application

May be it is better for the official delivery to still be compatible with Java 6 for a little while

Hi,

This issue has been raised previously on github
https://github.com/lexicalscope/jewelcli/issues/21 if you can perhaps
also comment there it will help me to keep track of how many people
this is a problem for and then decide if it is viable to produce a
Java 6 version.

When I next get opportunity I will also try to work out exactly what
would need to change to do this, as I cannot quite remember the extent
to which I have used the new java 7 features.

Cheers,

Tim
