Hey guys:

I just got this message from the gameclass googlegroup.

Hi
tomorrow Stephen Beck from LSU will be giving the lecture on Sound.
Then, depending on time I will talk about multi-player gaming.

The following week we will have UIC give their mid point
presentations. Then on 11/2 I will be in Louisiana to participate in
LSU's mid point presentations. This will give each team more time to
present. So plan for something like a 20 minute presentation.

Jason

So apparently we have until *2 Nov or 14 days from today.  That makes me feel slightly better about things, but it is still going to be tough.  Will we be meeting on 26 Oct?

Eric is sorting out his *boot camp issues this morning so he can run all the software we're running.  I've been needing a public IP from campus, so I'm supposed to remember to ask Gab about sorting that today.

After class, I think we should meet for an in-person-session to *work and (most importantly) get *Gobby working well.  After that, it should be easy to meet over Gobby daily.  If the Imaginarium is available, we may also want to play with GlovePIE and the paired wiimotes...

Santanu- since you've provided the models we need for now, you don't really need to stay to meet with us unless you would like to.  However, I'd like it if you got with Eric to finally sort out the *website updating issue in the first few minutes after class.  Otherwise, you should be able to focus on working on the *menu models (something basic in time for the mid point presentation) and textures/rendering for the other models, sound, or anything else you would like to spend time with.

Oh, one more thing: since today is a Friday before a home game, we may need to be concerned with where we *park so we don't get towed while we're meeting after 5.  Where we should park, I really don't know...lol.  Any suggestions?  I may take the bus onto campus.

Thanks as always,
Colbs
