Inside Sales (Battle Creek MI Meiji Location)
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
• Primarily handle all
aspects of sales with emphasis on growing both the sales and contact base.
• Perform daily inquiries to Japan and domestic suppliers, quotations to customers, ordering of product and following up of customer issues. Ensure that all of your customers of responsibilities need’s are being fully met.
• Regularly evaluate and recommend changes to the branch or regional manager on customer issues, such as but not limited to, customer news, supplier issues, projects and problems in your areas of responsibility.
• Responsible for local area stock agreement inventory stocks. Assist the branch or regional manager on the prevention of troubles in both daily sales activities and operation of the areas of
responsibility.
• Detect and report improper operations, faulty equipment, defective materials and unusual conditions to Meiji Corporation’s branch or regional manager. At the same time recommending solutions for the pre mentioned issues.
• Work with your outside salesperson to analyze and resolve problems relative to any account within your area.
*Relocation may be offered for this position. Candidates outside the immediate geographical area (Battle Creek MI) will be considered for this position.
Qualifications:
This position requires a minimum AS Degree in business administration or an equal practical experience level.
Other requirements include:

Typing – 75 WPM or higher•
Bilingual - English/Japanese speaking (preferred), Japanese/English Speaking will be interviewed.•
Time Management skills – Ability to prioritize work and meet obligations.•
Phone etiquette - ability to make cold calls.•
