Subject: Job Posting for Nippon Shokken USA

"We’ve posted a job opening with you guys before, and we would like to post an opening for our company again as we had/are having great success with the previous candidate you organization provided us."

Below are details.

Position: Sales Representative

Posted by: Mr. Hokuto Ochiai @ Nippon Shokken USA, Inc. [New York Sales Office]

Type: Full-time

Location: Englewood Cliffs, NJ

Salary: (DOE)

Start Date: As soon as possible.

Overview:

·         Nihon Shokken was founded in 1971 in Japan.

·         Our primary line of products are industrial seasonings and sauces, for which we currently hold the top share of several categories in our field, thanks to our superior blending technologies.

·         Nippon Shokken USA was established as a subsidiary in 1988 with the LA office, and has steadily continued to expand since.

We have over 200+ locations worldwide, 6 of which are in the USA including our domestic manufacturing plant in West Sacramento, CA.

To strengthen our sales in North America, particularly the East Coast Regional Division, we are currently seeking young and enthusiastic individuals for the position of outside sales representative.

We would like someone who is not only a good people person but also resilient.

Aside from the often desired traits such as good time management and eloquence, the capacity for innovation and flexibility are important to excel in the field.

Due to the nature of the company, an interest in Japanese culture, particularly food and cooking, is also highly recommended (but not required).

Above all else, the desire to learn is crucial.

Standard working hours are from 8:30AM~5:30PM, Monday through Friday, under the classification of full-time exempt employee.

The position requires a decent amount of business travel, estimated at about 2 weeks of every month.

Pay is based on salary. In addition to the salary though, there are opportunities for commissions and bonuses.

Nippon Shokken offers its employees and dependents fairly extensive benefits.

A company car, laptop, cell phone and various other equipment is available for use during sales. Accommodations such as hotels, food show materials purchases, and any other business-related expenses are, within predetermined budget regulations of course, fully covered by the company.
