Description:
Our client, a global pharmaceutical wholesaler, is seeking a U.S. Business Manager to join their team. As a U.S. Business Manager, you will be part of the Operations Department supporting the Executive Leadership Team in Hong Kong and the local U.S. startup. The ideal candidate will have entrepreneurial initiative, cultural adaptability, and discreet professional judgment, which will align successfully in the organization.



Job Title: U.S. Business Manager (Bilingual Japanese/English)

Location: Parsippany, NJ

Pay Range: $80,000 – $100,000(Based on Experience)

What’s the Job?

Lead the initial build-out of the first U.S. office and warehouse, including vendor management and facility setup.

Act as the primary bridge between U.S. operations and the Japanese headquarters to ensure seamless communication and alignment.

Coordinate pharmaceutical wholesale licensing, regulatory compliance, and state-level registrations.

Manage day-to-day business operations including basic accounting, payroll coordination, and HR administration for the U.S. entity.

Support the President with executive-level administrative tasks, scheduling, and high-level business reporting.



What’s Needed?

Full professional fluency in Japanese and English (JLPT N1 or native-level proficiency required).

Experience in a pharmaceutical, medical, or highly regulated distribution environment.

Proven background in startup operations, office management, or business administration.

Working knowledge of basic accounting principles, HR compliance, or payroll administration.

Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple operational projects from the ground up.
