Job Position: Adjunct Lecturer
Organization: CIEE Kyoto
Salary/Hourly Rate: 400000 JPY per course
Where: Kyoto, Japan

CIEE Kyoto is urgently looking for a part-time instructor to teach Beginning, Intermediate, and Advanced courses for its Japanese language program for the spring 2024 semester.
Position: Lecturer (Part-time)
Appointment Date: January - May 2024
Contract Specifications: 6-week and 15-week contracts depending on course
Shicata Avenir Building, 2F
438-4 Sasaya-cho, Oike Sagaru, Higashi-no-toin-dori, Nakagyo-ku, Kyoto
Duties and Responsibilities:
Teaching Mondays - Thursdays (9:00 am - 11:30 am)
Contract for 45-60 contact hours plus marking and course prep, 400,000 JPY total per course.
• Master's in relevant field
• Teaching, tutoring, or TA experience.
• Ability to connect with undergraduates from American institutions.
• Proficiency in English.
• PhD in relevant field
• Published scholarship in relevant fields.
• Experience using a learning management system (LMS).
• Strong record of teaching excellence.
