The Study Abroad Foundation (SAF) is a US non-profit education organization
- a 501(c)(3) - focused on student international mobility. SAF's HQ is in
Indianapolis, Indiana, with the majority of its staff based in the
Foundation's Country Offices in China, Taiwan, Japan and Korea.  SAF
facilitates study abroad opportunities in the US, Europe and Australasia for
international students attending its member universities in Asia.

SAF seeks to hire a Communications Coordinator who will be responsible for
coordinating the external and internal messaging of the Foundation with the
goal of building and sustaining the SAF's reputation for quality,
reliability, and student satisfaction.

Candidates should possess creativity, excellent writing and editing skills,
knowledge of MS Office, graphic design experience, strong attention to
detail and the ability to manage numerous projects simultaneously while
operating on a deadline.  A bachelor's degree in journalism, communications,
marketing, informatics, or related field is desirable as well as a minimum
of five years of direct experience.  Study abroad or other international
experience is preferred, as is proficiency in Mandarin or Japanese. 
This is a full-time, salaried position with a competitive benefits package.
This position reports to the Vice President and is based in Indianapolis and
works directly with the Foundation's President & Co-CEO as well as staff in
the Foundation's Country Offices. U.S. and international travel is required.
