Who You Are
· Highly experienced Japanese/English interpreter/translator
· Native Japanese ability
· Familiar with (or able to learn) machine translation tools (SDL Trados, Systran, etc.)
· Capable of demonstrating success in team/group workload sharing

What You’ll Do
We’ll add you to our team of the best automotive Japanese/English translators in the industry. You will split your time between two offices (in Lexington and Georgetown, Kentucky). Together, we will have you:

· Learn automotive-specific translation terms
· Translate emails, memos, manuals, trainings, budgets, specification packages, and other automotive manufacturing related documents
· Use translation management software in all aspects of the translation process
· Interpret for meetings (often after “business hours” due to international time zones) and in office and factory settings
· Maintain flexible work schedule to meet deadlines
· Report to a broader team of language professionals to share status, and problem-solve
