> The Reves Center for International Studies at the College of William & Mary invites applications for the recently revised position of Global Education Advisor. The Global Education Advisor will serve as an integral member of the Global Education Office team. The focus of this position is on advising and managing most of W&M's semester study abroad programs including exchange programs, overseeing the peer advisor program, managing the transfer credit process and serving as a second contact for visiting international student support.

> Responsibilities: The Global Education Advisor will manage and advise a portfolio of exchange and sponsored semester programs and study abroad options under the guidance of the Associate Director Global Education Programs, oversee the peer advisor program, manage the transfer credit process and serve as a secondary support contact for approximately 40 visiting international students for the Assistant Director Student Experience.

> Requirements: The Global Education Advisor should possess excellent communication interpersonal skills and strong organizational talents. The successful candidate should possess proven experience working with students, staff, and faculty, knowledge of and experience with cross-cultural issues. Applicants should have a demonstrated ability to work independently and cooperatively. Proficiency in using the Microsoft Office suite is essential, and familiarity with Studio Abroad is desirable. A Bachelor's degree is required.

> Preferred: The preferred candidate will also have one or more of the following qualifications: in-depth knowledge of evaluation and processing of foreign transfer credits; study abroad or international student advising experience; cross-cultural training or experience; experience living abroad; experience working in a post-secondary international education setting; and fluency in at least one language in addition to English (preferably Spanish).
