Job Position: Japanese Bilingual Sales Assistant

Description:
A Japanese Trading Company is currently looking for a full time, fully onsite Japanese Bilingual Sales Assistant to join their Schaumburg, IL location.

In this role, you will coordinate customer and supplier transactions, prepare sales documentation, support import/export operations, and provide overall administrative support to the sales team.

DOE and skills, the pay range for this position would be between the 60k-70k mark with amazon benefits.

Your essential duties would be as follows:
Sales & Administrative Support
・Prepare quotations by translating documents from Japanese to English.
・Create and process purchase orders, invoices, and sales orders.
・Provide day-to-day administrative assistance to the sales team.

Operations & Trade Support
・Coordinate parts procurement with customers and suppliers.
・Prepare import/export documentation, including commercial invoices and customs-related paperwork.
・Assist with occasional shipping activities.
Financial Support
・Record sales transactions and support accounts receivable (AR) collections.

Please consider the following qualifications:
・Languages: Business-level Japanese and English communication skills (written and spoken). Must be able to read inquiries in Japanese and translate them into English.
・Experience:
・General office experience is required.
・Experience in international trade operations is preferred.
・Skills:
・Proficiency with Microsoft Office (including Excel and PowerPoint).
・Strong organizational and time-management skills in a fast-paced environment.
