Should I update to the latest versions of RepG and sailfish firmware?  The later versions seem focused on Replicator Machines which makes me concerned about backwards compatibility with Thingomatic.

I am updating my Thingomatic from late 2011 (Gen4 - Arduino Mega electronics) which I run on RepG 40r30-Sailfish from 2014.   I think the Sailfish firmware is V4.7 -r1428.  I assume Thingomatic development is ancient history now.

Release notes can be found here: http://www.sailfishfirmware.com/
The tabs at the top of the page are the release notes for different
releases. Jetty and I have ceased working on Sailfish: I stopped circa
2016, Jetty before then. I spend my time with 32bit firmware now.

Thanks for your response & thanks for all the work you put into Sailfish!  I think I am up to date with the latest version for Thing-O-Matic at 4.7 and RepG 40r34 - sailfish.

However, can you help with heated platform thermistor settings?  The thermistor resistance is performing as per spec sheet, but the firmware maps the temperature incorrectly.  At 100c it is spot on, but at lower temperatures it is far off.  It heats to 40c when set and reading at 60c.  The documentation makes reference to selecting thermistor type on non-makerbot machines, but I cannot find any menu item to change it.  Is this set somewhere in the ROM?  Can I edit it directly from LCD panel or RepG?

Thanks again,
Eric
