Upgrading CTC Dual advice needed

I have a CTC Creator Dual and I am going to upgrade to Sailfish.

I am also going to downgrade to a single Titan Aero extruder and I will add an active cooling fan.

Do I:

A: Flash as a dual printer and just use the one extruder (right extruder)... as the left one "had issues" and has never really been used. I would just make a adaptor to fit the Aero nozzle as close to the original as possible. The advantages would be the offsets and settings would be the same.?.

B: Or do I setup the firmware as a Single Extruder and if so could I use these same offsets for the right extruder? would there be issues from the perspective the dual carriage and it's size and travel?

I have been trying to find a already printed carriage adapter for Titan and Aero setup but I haven't seen anything for a dual carriage. Has anyone here done it or knows of an example?
