  Below are the tasks and list of items that need to be purchased and brought to Chinmaya Maruthi.   Core volunteers, please show up at Chinmaya Maruthi at sharp  4 PM on Saturday 20th January along with the items you are suppose to bring.

 

 The tasks/items list below. Very similar to every year.


  Raghuji, please co-ordinate with Prasannaji on pooja items, that you talked about in the meeting.


 

ITEMS LIST:

The following is the tentative plan and items to purchase for Goda Kalyanam.
Any expenses you incur while purchasing the below items, will be reimbursed. 
Please keep the original receipts and handover them to Smn. Praveen Goli.

 

Volunteer arrival: 4:00 PM

Decorations start from: 4:00 PM

Set up audio/microphones etc.

Malalu, wash fruits etc., helping Smn Pavan Swami set-up.

Raghu will bring Smn Pavan Swami to Chinmaya Maruthi.

Set up the front desk.

Poster/Banner set-up.

Vishnusahasranam chanting from 5:00 PM.

Kalyanam starts at 6:00 PM.

Prasadam/Dinner – 8:00 PM.

Around 10 volunteers needed.

Cleanup at end.

Dindu maala  2 - big - Gudi lo laaga - with big carnation - ALL COLORS. (CONTACT DR. DEEPA for help in making them - 6 feet each mala))

Chamanti/Carnation 15 bouquets (for 4 malasludandalu)

Loose flowers(Vidi pulu) 5 bunches..

Thread and Needles for garlands

Loose Tulasi Leaves(Vidi tulasi) and malalu (2).

Betel leaves(Tamalapakulu) – 20

Mamidi Akulu (2 bunches)

Kobbari bondalu - Green 4

Coconuts – 10 ( 5 with juttu, 5 regular)

Muthyalu for talambralu (different color plastic beads – available in walmart)

Dharam (thread) for Kankanam – Available in Walmart.

 This year Goda Kalyanam is on Saturday 18th January 2020 at New England Shirdi Sai Temple. We booked temple between 4:00 pm – 10:00 PM, They are OK for us to go early for decorations. Pavan Swami will be providing priest services for the event. Pavan Swami will be flying from Huston on Friday late night and returning on Sunday early hours. Flight and Rental Car Reservations are complete.

Core Team please try to be at New England Shirdi Sai Temple at sharp 3 PM on Saturday 18th January along with the items you are supposed to bring. We will have hour or two for Decorations. I have requested Lakshmi Jemolla and some of my neighbors also to help with decorations this year.

Like every year Here are the list of items / tasks list below.

I will work with CharyJi in receiving Perumal for Alankaram. Alankaram will mostly be on Saturday Morning.

I have ordered 100 big size ladoos from Ragini Mami that we can pickup on Friday 17th Jan 2020. This year we plan to give one Big Ladoo per family.

I am working with JET board to see if we can get some Perumal Vigraham/coins to give it for Sponsors

PrasannaJi will get all Silver/Pooja items and order flowers necessary for Kalyanam

PraveenJi/RadhikaJi will do all Indian grocery shopping

MadhaviJi will coordinate Prasadam

KrishnaJi, PraveenJi along with Subbuji will man Front Desk Registrations. We also need to plan to show case BN, Prajna, VT Seva activities.

PraveenJi, I have shared withyou jetboston PayPal account password. Can we get a dongle so that we can use PayPal as much as possible?

*Can we consider printing Registration Slips so that we have correct GotraNamalu for reading.

Can I request

RajappaJi/SrikanthJi/Murali Ji to coordinate stage activity this year

Vishwaji/PadmashreeJi – Can you please coordinate with All Prajan centers and see how we want to showcase Prajna talent.

PrasannaJi/RadhikaJi/SmitaJi and others– Off Stage coordination of Flowers/Lamps/Kankanams etc

RajaGaru / Srinivas NaiduJi– Based on other commitments MadaviJi and Srinivas Kakiji may be travelling at that time, Can I ask you to lead Food Committee this year.  BJs purchases etc.

Padma Kandukuri  would like to make one full tray of Yogurt rice and
Mrs.Shobha Ranganeni (Grafton) like to bring - Fried dry channa (full tray)- not a curry item & Chakkera Pongali (full tray).
