Trust and pray that household meetings are going on well in your places. Please find attached the household catechesis for December.
In December, we study Pope Francis' letter to a non-believer as part of the household catechesis. Eugenio Scalfari, one of the founders of the Italian newspaper La Repubblica, published an editorial in early July and again in early August 2013, about questions he'd like to ask Pope Francis if he ever had the chance. In response to these editorials, Pope Francis gave his personal experience of discovering faith to non-believers. This is the first time that a Pope has personally responded to questions put to him in two newspaper editorials.
Holy Father has answered few interesting question in his letter. Those questions are highlighted in bold letters. As we study this letter from Pope Francis, it is also an opportunity to reflect on many aspects of our faith.
