Subject: Step One 2013 A Summary
Dear in Christ,
Greeting from Teens Ministry!!
Happy to update you regarding the results of Step One and the changes happening in schools of Kerala after the programme.
From all over the state, 606 ninth graders,40 teachers and 300 volunteers came together for the celebration. Presence of Arch Bishop Mar Joseph Perunthottam, Arch-diocese of Changanassery, was very much graceful.
Theme of the programme being ' A journey with my best friend' worked out quite well in bring the teenagers to the love of Christ.
Separate programmes were conducted for teenagers,teachers and supporting leaders.After the programme, these supporting leaders have taken up 5 teenagers each to follow them up and lead them through the material 'Companion',, which has already begun in many zones like Thrissur and Kozhikode.
Also the teachers who were present are eager to build the kingdom of God in schools. This time they have made an ad hoc team to network between teachers.
So I use this opportunity to extend you many many thanks for supporting us during 'Step One' in prayers and presence. Let's continue the work initiated during Step One and join in 'Step Two' which is to mould these teenagers into Spiritually Dynamic, Socially responsible and intellectually alert teenagers for Christ..
