Dear Jesus youth ,

Greetings from Pietro Paolo team.

‘Pietro Paolo’ is a resource level leadership formation package organized by Jesus Youth Kerala.

Like Jesus who chose His disciples, formed them and then sent them out to be missionaries, the participants for Pietro Paolo(first batch) were selected from 12 zones across Kerala and then put through an 18 month long formation where they emulate the pastoral leadership pattern of St.Peter and the missionary zeal of St.Paul.

The main highlights of this training are the continuous formation, Mission orientation, Church study, Regular follow up and mentoring that the participants receive. The group also participates in a formation growth retreat, sub region wise leaders training (for leadership orientation), talent orientation gathering (for identifying and nurturing talents) and mission outreach (for growing in missionary zeal). The first batch of Pietro Paolo had their final gathering from 26-30 June 2013 at Cherthala.

We could see many positives from the first batch.

….A visionary leadership have formed in zones.

….Above 40 participants were selected as zonal service team members.

….Also more than 50 of them are involved in ministry or sub zone teams.

….A good relationship among different zones were formed.

…..Most of them experienced a mission exposure.

As we announced in the annual evaluation meeting we start the next batch on Feb,2014.

We request to all zonal service teams to submit the participants list(20-25) and the names of the formation team(one member should from zonal service team+ 2 members and one animator father/sister).

And also fix and inform one date in February for the screening...
